Census hearing raises new questions in advance of 2020 count – Times Union

ALBANY – A panel tasked with preparing New York for next year’s Census count was left with new questions following a presentation Tuesday by federal officials in Albany. This was the eighth hearing convened by the 16-member Complete Count Commission, which is soliciting input from advocates and experts to inform their recommendations on how the state should marshal its existing resources and spend $20 million to ensure an accurate count of New Yorkers.
